Saudi Arabia is normally one hour ahead of Egypt. During Egyptian summer time the two are the same. Worth checking when you agree appointment times with us.
Currency
The Egyptian Pound floats, so rates move. The Saudi Riyal is pegged to the US Dollar. For that reason we quote indicative figures in SAR or USD rather than in Pounds, which would be out of date quickly.
Where you will be treated
Mostly Cairo and Giza, where our partner hospitals and clinics are. Recovery and wellness stays can be arranged on the Red Sea or elsewhere once your physician clears you to travel domestically.

Can I be assessed before I travel?
Yes, and you should be. Send your records and an appropriate licensed provider reviews them before you book flights. How long will I need to be away from home?
It depends entirely on the procedure. Hair transplant 4 to 6 days. Dental veneers 5 to 7 days. Dental implants usually two trips of 3 to 5 days, months apart. Bariatric surgery 7 to 10 days. Cosmetic surgery 7 to 14 days, because your surgeon must clear you as fit to fly before you travel.
Will everything be in Arabic?

What should I bring with me?
Your medical records and any imaging, a list of current medications with doses, your insurance details if relevant, and comfortable loose clothing if you are having surgery. We send a specific list once your pathway is confirmed, because it differs by procedure.
