Dental implant cost in Egypt 2026: what one tooth costs in SAR

In short: one dental implant in Egypt typically costs about 940–2,300 SAR, depending mainly on the implant brand, and most clinics price the crown separately. A full jaw on All-on-4 is about 8,300–11,300 SAR per jaw. These are indicative published prices, excluding flights; the treating dentist sets the final price after an examination and scans.

Search for dental implant prices in Egypt and you will find figures from around EGP 7,000 to EGP 42,000 for what is described as the same procedure. That is a sixfold difference — and it is not because some clinics are dishonest. It is because the phrase "dental implant" describes several quite different things. This guide explains exactly what drives the price, what is usually priced separately, and how many trips you should budget for.

How much does one dental implant cost in Egypt in 2026?

The prevailing published range for a single implant in Egypt is about 940–2,300 SAR, with observed prices from about 560 to 3,300 SAR. The price is per implant, whether it replaces a front tooth or a molar.

A back tooth, especially in the upper jaw, is more likely to need bone grafting or a sinus lift, which adds cost and time. Only a scan can tell.

SAR figures are approximate and move with the exchange rate. The implant system is a choice to discuss with the treating dentist for your bone and case, not only a price difference.

Full-mouth dental implants in Egypt: cost

For a jaw with most teeth missing, a fixed bridge on four or more implants (All-on-4 or similar) is common. The indicative range is about 8,300–11,300 SAR per jaw, roughly double for both jaws, excluding flights and stay.

A temporary bridge is usually fitted on the first trip and the final one after healing on a second trip. It does not suit every case; the dentist decides after imaging.

Are immediate implants available?

Immediate implants place the implant, sometimes with a temporary crown, on the same day or straight after an extraction. Many Egyptian clinics offer them, usually within the ranges above, but it is a clinical decision based on bone density and gum health, not an option to book in advance.

Are there free or very cheap dental implants in Egypt?

We know of no free implant programmes for visitors from abroad. Very low advertised prices usually leave out the crown, scans or bone grafting, so compare itemised written quotes line by line rather than the headline number.

Why does the same procedure vary sixfold in price?

Published figures from Egyptian clinics currently run from about EGP 7,000 to EGP 42,000 per implant. The dominant variable is the implant brand.

Korean and local systems sit at the lower end, typically EGP 8,000–11,000. German and Italian systems are typically EGP 12,000–17,000. Premium Swiss systems such as Straumann sit at the top, with one Cairo clinic publishing around EGP 42,000 for implant and crown inclusive with a long warranty.

Price is also driven by the surgeon’s experience, the clinic’s imaging and planning technology, and whether surgery is guided. Clinics using 3D CBCT imaging and CAD/CAM planning typically charge more — and that technical infrastructure improves accuracy and reduces complications, so it is not simply margin.

What the quoted price usually excludes

This is where budgets break. Items typically priced separately from the implant itself:

• The crown — often an extra EGP 3,000–8,000
• 3D CBCT imaging
• Bone grafting or a sinus lift if your bone volume requires it
• Any extraction needed beforehand
• Temporary restorations during the osseointegration phase

Always confirm in writing what the quoted figure covers before treatment begins. A very low implant price that excludes the crown is not cheaper than a higher all-inclusive one.

No reputable clinic quotes a final price from a photograph

One Cairo clinic states it plainly in its patient guide: no serious implant clinic should give a final price before assessing bone volume by X-ray or CBCT.

That is the correct standard. Bone volume determines whether you need grafting, which changes both cost and timeline materially. A clinic willing to commit to a final price before imaging is either guessing or intending to revise the figure later.

What you can reasonably obtain before travelling is a preliminary estimate from your existing X-rays and records — enough to decide whether to proceed.

How many trips will you need?

For a conventional implant: usually two. The first to place the implant; you then return home while osseointegration takes place over several months; the second to fit the crown. Each trip is typically 3–5 days.

Some cases allow immediate-loading protocols where a temporary restoration is fitted the same day — full-arch All-on-4 usually works this way, with the final prosthesis fitted after healing. Published All-on-4 figures in Egypt range from roughly USD 1,580–4,430 per arch, or about EGP 75,000–210,000.

For veneers rather than implants, plan on 5–7 days and 2–3 clinic sessions. Full-set figures are typically published at EGP 50,000–110,000 for 16–20 teeth.

Whether you are a candidate for immediate loading is a clinical decision, not a scheduling preference. You can model the two-trip difference yourself with the trip cost calculator.

Questions worth asking before you commit

Which implant brand and system will be used, and why that one for my case?
Is the crown included in the figure you have given me?
Will I need bone grafting, and if so is it included?
Do you perform CBCT imaging, and is it included?
What warranty applies to the implant and to the crown, and what does it actually cover?
How many trips does my case need, and what happens between them?
Who performs the surgery, and what is their specific training in implantology?

A clinic that answers these clearly and in writing is telling you something useful about how it operates. The full question list is here.
