A children's doctor at your hotel or home in Egypt
Children feel the heat, the food change and long days out more than adults do. We arrange a licensed paediatrician to see your child where you are staying.
Common reasons families call
- High temperature that won't settle
- Vomiting, diarrhoea and signs of dehydration
- Ear pain after swimming, coughs and colds
- Rashes, heat rash and insect bites
- Advice on medicine doses for your child's weight
When to call 123 instead
Call 123 first (Egypt's ambulance number) for chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, loss of consciousness, a serious fall or a seizure, and go to the nearest hospital. Message us for everything that can safely wait for a visit or a clinic appointment.
How a visit works
- Send us the child's age, weight, symptoms and your location.
- We confirm a licensed paediatrician, the fee and an estimated arrival time.
- The doctor examines your child and advises on treatment.
- If tests or a hospital visit are needed, we coordinate transport by a licensed company.
What to have ready
- Passport or ID of the patient
- A list of current medicines and allergies
- Your travel or health insurance details, if you have them
- Your exact location: hotel name and room number, or a map pin on WhatsApp
Fees and insurance
The visit fee is set by the licensed provider and confirmed to you before the visit. You pay the provider directly and receive a receipt — keep it for your travel insurance claim. Hayakkom earns a coordination fee from the providers it works with; there are no hidden extras.
What we do, and what the doctor decides
Hayakkom coordinates: we find a suitable licensed provider, book the visit, share your location and stay with you on WhatsApp in Arabic or English. The doctor or nurse makes every medical decision. Availability and arrival times depend on the area and time of day and are confirmed when you message us — we never promise a fixed time.

Questions people ask
Can a parent stay with the child during the visit?
Yes — a parent or guardian should always be present and give consent for the examination.
What signs mean we should go to hospital?
Difficulty breathing, a child who is unusually drowsy or hard to wake, signs of severe dehydration, a seizure or a non-blanching rash: call 123 and go to the nearest hospital.
Can the doctor speak to us in Arabic?
Yes. Doctors in Egypt speak Arabic and many speak English; our coordinator can also help on WhatsApp.
Do you arrange visits in Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada?
Yes, through licensed providers in those resort areas. Availability varies by time and place and is confirmed when you message.
